Condition Details

Frozen Shoulder

Frozen shoulder, also known as adhesive capsulitis, is a condition that causes progressive pain, stiffness, and significant restriction of shoulder movement. It can make everyday activities such as reaching overhead, dressing, combing your hair, or reaching behind your back difficult. Symptoms often develop gradually and may progress through stages of increasing pain and stiffness before movement slowly improves. Frozen shoulder can occur without an obvious cause or may develop after injury, surgery, prolonged immobilization, or certain health conditions. AvaTrita focuses on pain relief, gentle mobility exercises, stretching, gradual strengthening, movement education, and activity guidance. The goal is to reduce discomfort, restore shoulder movement and function, and help you gradually return to your normal activities.
